1) What type of metal is your jewelry made from?
We use solid sterling silver (925).
The '925' represents 92.5% minimum pure silver. As pure silver is soft and malleable (making it prone to breakage), 7.5% is made up of alloy. This helps our silver remain durable and suitable for everyday use while remaining high quality.
2) How long will it take for the items to be shipped?
Once we receive your order, it will take 2-3 business days for your order to be processed and dispatched. All orders are mailed out twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. For shipping times once your order is dispatched, please refer to our Shipping Policy, here.
3) Can you swim, exercise and/or shower with your jewelry on?
We would suggest taking off your jewelry if there is any chance it could get wet by swimming, showering, or sweating! This will ensure that your jewelry stays clean and sparkly. Silver and crystals dull overtime if routinely exposed to water or chlorine and so it is best to avoid it.
4) Does your jewelry come with warranty?
At this time, we do not provide warranty on our jewelry pieces. However, whilst we hope this never happens, if you do receive a damaged or defective piece, we will happily return or exchange the item for a new one. Please see our Returns & Exchange policy here.
5) How do you clean your jewelry?
Sterling silver and gold plated pieces can be cleaned using a polishing cloth or ideally a jewelry cleansing solution.
6) Can you make necklaces longer/shorter?
If you would like to customize the length of one of our necklaces, please contact us at info@loveeast.ca. Custom orders will take 2-3 weeks to be made as all our pieces are handmade to order. There may also be an additional cost for customization, based on the nature of the request. Please contact us for more details.
7) Where is your jewelry made?
Currently, all of our items are handmade in Istanbul, Turkey by our trusted suppliers.
